Black Tech Nation / BTN Ventures
Kelauni Jasmyn is the Founder and Executive Director of Black Tech Nation (//BTN) - a national and international network of 1600+ Black technologists, innovators, entrepreneurs and allies looking to change the color of tech. Earlier this year, Kelauni co-founded Black Tech Nation Ventures (or BTN.vc) with her fellow general partners, Sean Sebastian and David Motley. Black Tech Nation Ventures is a national $50 million fund, headquartered in Pittsburgh, that aims to support Black entrepreneurs, startups led by Black executives, and startups founded by people of diverse backgrounds.
Kelauni is a native Chicagoan and a summa cum laude graduate of Howard University with a Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry. She currently serves publicly as the Vice Chair of the policy and entrepreneurship committee for IEEE-USA - the largest tech organization in the world and has recently joined the board of the Pittsburgh Venture Capital Association.
