Michael Maglio is an Executive Director and Banker in the Pittsburgh office of J.P. Morgan Private Bank. His clients have included successful business founders, public company executives, ultra-high-net-worth families, private equity investors/partners, professional athletes and the owner of a sports team. Mike serves as their single point of contact, delivering the full breadth of J.P. Morgan's capabilities to pursue sophisticated priorities planning, investing, banking and charitable giving with an intense dedication to each client's requirements.

Known for his welcoming style, Mike cultivates long-term relationships that connect people in a way that enriches their lives. He taps internal and external networks to facilitate the exchange of ideas and to explore common interests. Mike's well-diversified background includes portfolio management with in-depth exposure to venture capital, private equity and real estate. His involvement in alternative investments dovetails with his first-hand experience as a pre-IPO technology company board member and as an executive in multiple ventures.

Before joining the Private Bank in 2020, Mike was at BNY Mellon, where he led a team of Portfolio Managers and Trust Officers serving ultra-high-net-worth clients. He held a similar role as Investment Director at PNC Wealth Management. Mike has also served as an executive in two prominent family offices with roles that included co-chief investment officer and General Counsel.

Raised with a focus on education, Mike earned a B.A. in Mathematics from The University of Vermont. He received a J.D. from The Catholic University of America and practiced law for three years before earning an M.B.A. in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. Committed to paying it forward, Mike remains active with CMU/Tepper and is the founder of Aquinas Academy's lacrosse program, where he served as volunteer head coach for both the boys' and girls' teams.

Mike is married with one daughter, and in his free time, he enjoys a wealth of exciting activities golf, skiing, skeet and trap shooting, fly fishing, and the occasional alumni lacrosse game.
